Thanks to the generosity of The Citadel Foundation, the Daniel Library will undergo a renovation project that will replace the windows and repair the roof and stucco facade. In order to fabricate the uniquely-sized and -shaped windows, the contractor removed two windows from the northern end of the second floor to take to the window manufacturer.
One of these windows was located in the glassed-in study room and the other was near the portrait of Governor Richardson. Both the interior and exterior were boarded up with plywood.
